Your log.
A clear explanation.

You can browse the food directory without entering personal information. The free tracker uses a browser cookie to connect you to your saved entries.

What the tracker stores

We store the food or meal names, serving descriptions, protein amounts, selected dates, meal categories, daily targets, favorites, and default target you enter. A randomly generated cookie identifies this browser. Its stored server identifier is hashed.

Where the data lives

Entries are stored in the website’s hosted database. They are not shared with other visitors. There is no account recovery or cross-device sync in this version. Clearing the cookie prevents this browser from finding its old log.

Cookies and retention

The tracker’s essential cookie can last up to one year. Entries and favorites stay in the database until deleted; clearing your browser cookies alone does not delete server records. Use “Delete all my tracker data” before clearing cookies if you want the saved records removed.

Delete or export

The tracker includes a day-by-day CSV export and a control to delete all entries, favorites, and target preferences connected to this browser. That deletion clears the tracker cookie too.

Calculator inputs

The daily protein calculator runs in your browser. Body weight, age, activity, and goal inputs are not sent to the tracker server or saved by this website. If you choose to use a target in the tracker, only that protein target is saved when you apply it.

The app waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, selected language, signup time, and launch-email consent. We use this information to tell you when the iPhone app is ready. We do not add your address to advertising lists.

A separate essential cookie links this browser to its waitlist signup for up to one year. Only a hash of that cookie is stored on the server. You can remove your signup using the waitlist’s “Remove my signup” control in this browser; this does not delete your food tracker. Clearing the waitlist cookie alone does not delete the email record and prevents this browser from managing that signup.

Signup records remain until you remove them through this browser or we remove them. Hashed request identifiers help limit spam. The waitlist does not send email automatically at signup.

Browsing

This version adds no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security. Retailer and reference links open external sites with their own policies.
